Changelog

VoiceMaster release notes.

4.1.0April 10, 2026

Added

  • Added new locales for the bot commands and replies:
    • Arabic (العربية)
    • Czech (Čeština)
    • German (Deutsch)
    • Spanish (Español)
    • French (Français)
    • Italian (Italiano)
    • Japanese (日本語)
    • Korean (한국어)
    • Portuguese (Português)
    • Russian (Русский)
    • Turkish (Türkçe)
    • Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt)
    • Simplified Chinese (简体中文)
    • Traditional Chinese (繁體中文)
  • You can choose the bot language for your server through the dashboard or with /set language.
  • Dynamic setup: a new approach to temporary voice channels. Rather than creating channels only when someone joins, they can be created in advance, which gives your server a cleaner look.
  • We added placement as a new setup option: you decide whether new channels are created at the top of the category, at the bottom, or directly below the Join to Create channel.
  • Overflow categories toggle for setups: when the setup category reaches Discord's 50-channel limit, VoiceMaster automatically creates an overflow category for new channels, then removes it when it is no longer needed.
  • You can have dedicated LFM (Looking for Members) channels per setup. When someone creates an LFM post, it is sent to the LFM channel for that setup, so each game or activity can have its own place for those messages.
  • More variables for predefined setups: channel names are picked from word lists in these categories: {animals}, {colors}, {trees}, {fruits}, {gemstones}, {spices}, and {constellations}.
  • Per-setup interface customization: you can configure the voice channel interface separately for each setup on the dashboard, so different setups can use their own controls and styling.

Changed

  • UX and UI polish on the website to improve usability: layout, spacing, styling and responsiveness.
  • Updated the interface preview to support Discord markdown formatting.
  • Channel creation cooldown for premium bots is now capped at the first tier (one minute) and no longer ramps up to longer cooldowns.
  • Language and locale handling is tighter, so command replies and bot messages line up better with what you expect.
  • Errors are easier to understand: short explanations plus what to try next.
  • Invite links have been updated to reflect the removing of the activity threads the bot no longer requires threads, now requires nickname permissions for custom profile feature.
  • /voice game and the {game} variable are temporarily disabled while we improve the functionality.

Fixed

  • On the dashboard, saving interface settings no longer hides or drops options that should stay visible.
  • Temporary channels that are sequenced are no longer created in wrong orders/positions
  • We have restrcited the join role function to make sure your users are not given permissions they shouldn't have.
  • Per-role toggle settings respect role hierarchy again so higher roles behave the way you expect.
  • Join roles are no longer removed when a user joins another temporary voice channel.

Removed

  • Activity threads have been removed.
